About the role
Mixture of .NET framework and front-end development; Percentages of each depending on experience
- Develop and maintain firstgiving.com website and web services APIs
- Agile/Scrum management style
- Comfortable working with on-site and off-site team members
- Option of telecommuting a couple days per week
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in application development
- Familiarity with relational database concepts a plus
- BS degree in Computer Science preferred.
Experience with one or more of the following technologies/products is highly desirable:
- C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL
- MVC framework, nHibernate/ORMs
- Test driven design (TDD) experience helpful; e.g. nUnit
- JavaScript MVVM experience helpful e.g. Backbone
- Web services knowledge helpful; WCF/Restful
- Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
- Familiar and comfortable with QA methodologies, processes and techniques
