A little about the culture...
FirstGiving is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where individuals are given great responsibility and autonomy. If that makes you uneasy, this is probably not the best fit. If that excites you, read further!
We share a large office space. Our teams are broken up into "pods" which are really just clumps of desks placed together. If we need anything or have questions for the other teams, we simply get up and ask. There are days where the office gets chatty and others where you could hear a pin drop. We embody your typical "start up" mentality. You'll get your hands dirty in whatever your willing to play around with. We encourage "good mistakes" (aka "learning opportunites"), silly mistakes are frowned upon but we understand they happen. We're human after all.
We're highly independent individuals who are motivated by learning, doing our best work, critical thinking, and the opportunity to help nonprofits. We encourage individuals to speak up and share new ideas - be ready to back up your reasons though.
